This is a unique opportunity to build a next generation mechanical CAD product with a team that has repeatedly proven itself in the industry.   Located in Concord, MA, SpaceClaim is looking for several software engineers at varying levels of experience to join our team.

Requirements:

• Superior knowledge of 3D geometry
• Senior programmer
  • Skills in C# (C++ at a minimum)
  • Familiar with the ACIS and/or Parasolid modeling kernel
  • Familiar with CAD formats and data translators
  • Familiar with software development process
  • Skills in Visual Studio
• Comfortable with adapting to changing priorities
• Translate software product definition into software development projects
• Research and develop mathematical algorithms to solve identified geometric requirements
• Propose and defend alternative solutions to challenging problems
• Sort out project inter-dependencies and scheduling individual developers to complete projects
• Ability to translate geometric algorithms into interactive solutions
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver with high quality
• Ability and desire to manage others as the opportunity arises
• Good communication skills
• Eligible to work in the US
• Fluent in English
• Math/Geometry/Algorithmic Masters
• ACIS, Parasolid Experience Preferred
