    sheet metal

I really like to have the possibility to create mitered flanges in sheet metal. I cannot find such a function in the help files.
Is this scheduled for future release?

    Best regards

     Hello Willem,

There is a tutorial in the Help that does cover this functionality called "Converting a solid to a sheet metal part" and can be found under Getting Started > Tutorials.  It walks through the workflow of starting your model as a regular solid and changing it to sheet metal afterwards.

I've also made note that you would like to see this functionality incorporated directly into the Sheet Metal toolset.

    Regards,

    James Saunders

    Re: sheet metal

hi, i'm not sure where to put this message, but i was wondering whether it was possible to convert a sheet metal part to a solid, because i want to change the colour of the face. It actually isn't a sheet metal, rather it is acrylic but sheet metal works just as well. whenever i try to change the colour of the face, it stays greyed out whereas when i right click it, it says that the colour is indeed black. it clearly isn't. it's nothing to do with my graphics card because there are other components that are black in colour (they aren't sheet metals though) thanks for trying to help
