    ading text to the model

I want to include text/words in a design.
I then want to either add material for a rasied effect or subtract for a different effect

    1. Make Text by Note command (Detail tab > Annotation group > Note) 2. Project Text to your model by Project command (Design tab > Intersect group > project) 3. Use Pull command to Add or Cut

Knott gave youthe correct workflow.  There is also a somewhat dated tutorial video available here: http://www.spaceclaim.com/Support/Tutorials/SpaceClaim_TipsTricks.aspx?t=30

Please take note, this video was created in an older version of SpaceClaim, so some of the UI looks a bit different, and some of the tools behave slightly differently, but it should give you a good place to start with creating your raised text.
